Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a (Senior) Associate, Infrastructure & Energy Investment Banking. The (Senior) Associate will be responsible for conducting financial analyses, developing financial models, preparing transaction documents, performing due diligence, and advising clients on transactions. They will work closely with senior team members and clients to support the successful execution of projects within the Infrastructure & Energy sectors.

Responsibilities

Conduct financial analyses and build financial models for infrastructure and energy transactions; prepare transaction documents and accompany due diligence processes; advise clients on transactions; collaborate with senior team members to support execution of projects in the Infrastructure & Energy sectors.

Qualifications
  • An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business, statistics or other quantitative fields
  • 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure and energy investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory
  • Hands-on experience on energy transition / renewable energy transactions in North America
  • Exceptional analytical and financial modelling skills (including complex project finance models)
  • Ability to concisely communicate complex concepts and ideas verbally and in writing
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced work environment
Location

Toronto (hybrid) preferred, but open to other locations in Canada (remote).

Compensation

Competitive compensation package in accordance with experience / seniority.
