Overview

A leading global financial institution is seeking a Vice President, Credit Risk, to join its corporate credit team with a focus on the telecom, technology, and media sectors. This is a high-visibility individual contributor role, offering direct exposure to senior leadership and credit committee decision-making. The position has opened due to continued growth within the sector coverage team and the need for additional senior-level expertise to support an expanding portfolio of complex corporate clients.

• Lead end-to-end credit analysis for clients across the telecom, technology, and media sectors, including current credit applications and ongoing portfolio monitoring
• Conduct in-depth analysis of business models, financial statements, forecasts, and strategic business plans to assess creditworthiness and risk exposure
• Prepare transparent, well-reasoned credit risk opinions and recommendations for senior stakeholders and credit committee review
• Present findings confidently to senior management, defending credit decisions and contributing to high-level risk discussions

• Proven credit risk experience covering telecom, technology, and media corporate clients within a banking or financial services environment
• Robust track record of complex financial statement analysis, cash flow assessment, and corporate credit underwriting
• Experience writing detailed credit memorandums/risk opinions for senior approval committees
• Demonstrated ability to present credit recommendations to senior stakeholders and operate independently in a senior individual contributor capacity
