Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We’re looking for a Financial Specialist for our growing private placement team, called the Distribution Financial Strategy (DFS) team.
Context
Intact Financial Corporation (IFC) distributes property and casualty insurance products through brokerage firms in Canada. IFC must ensure a strong and sustainable brokerage network. To do so, the Distribution Financial Strategy team provides financial support to several firms of different sizes through lending and equity investments, in addition to supporting succession planning and sound investment governance.
Your work will strongly influence Intact’s business growth strategy through profitable transactions. You will contribute to the implementation of sound, creative and customized financial solutions that enable distributor development. People will rely on you to contribute to financial analyses and business proposals, deliver financial solutions that reconcile Intact’s strategic business goals and those of its partners, as well as build sustainable business relationships with existing and future partners in the Distribution Financial Solutions (BFS) network.
You will also work closely with these partners in their budgeting process and in planning the use of operating funds.
