Tax Manager for Canadian Compliance

Drive tax excellence with our global pharmaceutical company as a Tax Manager focused on Canadian compliance. Lead income tax returns and audits to ensure adherence and optimal outcomes. As a Tax Manager, reporting to the Sr. Taxation Director, you will oversee Canadian corporate income tax compliance, tax provisions, and audits. You will also assist in tax planning by researching strategies to minimize liabilities while documenting the tax impacts of business decisions.

Your role includes collaborating with tax authorities and utilizing software to streamline processes effectively.

• Prepare Canadian corporate and partnership income tax returns
• Assist in tax planning projects for optimal compliance
• Liaise with CRA and provincial authorities during audits
• Respond to inquiries and communicate tax requirements regularly
• Standardize processes using tax software and Excel

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Canadian CPA designation required
• 5+ years of relevant tax experience
• Bilingual in French and English
• Solid analytical and communication skills
