In this pivotal role, you will oversee the financial and administrative health at Payukotayno:
James and Hudson Bay Family Services. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will manage financial stewardship and regulatory compliance, while providing strategic advice and support. Your extensive nonprofit finance experience—particularly in an Indigenous context—will be key in aligning the agency’s operations with its core principles and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead financial strategy and multi-year planning
• Oversee accounting functions and internal controls
• Advance procurement compliance and asset management
• Supervise administrative team and operations
• Manage fund tracking and reporting obligations
Requirements:
• CPA designation or relevant education in finance
• 7–10 years of relevant leadership experience
• Expertise in Indigenous governance frameworks
• Strong skills in cross-functional communication
• Access to a reliable vehicle for travel
