Store Manager Montreal

We are looking for an experienced retail professional to serve as Store Manager, responsible for maintaining company standards and leading efficient store operations.

• Assign and monitor individual staff objectives and activities based on group priorities and performance plans.
• Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
• Provide timely feedback to staff on performance and development.
• Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and training/development for staff.
• Provide guidance and support to staff with problem solving and decision-making.
• Take responsibility for store performance and meet defined expectations.
• Provide reports and analyses as required by management.
• Manage banking, sales processing, and inventory control.
• Ensure successful and efficient operation of a retail location.
• Approve timesheets.
• Meet corporate KPI parameters and make adjustments as required.

• 8-12 years of experience in a customer-facing environment; completion of a post-secondary program in Business Administration or equivalent is an asset.
• Previous significant experience in a retail management role, including responsibility for team leadership, merchandising, and process management.
• Proven track record in leading store or district management teams with a sharp emphasis on both customer service and employee relations.
• Ability to give clear direction and communicate decisions effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to transition seamlessly between leading a team and taking direction.
• Computer proficiency with strong abilities in Microsoft Office.
• Advanced knowledge in Lee Valley’s key areas of business is an asset.
