This role focuses on overseeing the privacy and FOI program at Osler, aligning it with the organization's mission and values. You will be responsible for mentoring staff, leading privacy-related projects, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Your expertise will guide the development of effective privacy policies and ensure compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify gaps in current privacy processes and suggest improvements
• Document risks associated with new privacy technologies
• Monitor legislative changes and their operational impact
• Conduct reviews of privacy incidents and make recommendations
• Foster team growth by setting objectives and promoting collaboration
Requirements:
• Minimum 7 years managing privacy or risk teams
• Expert knowledge of PHIPA, FIPPA, and related regulations
• Intermediate skills in IT systems and infrastructure
• Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills
• Experience leading large-scale change initiatives
