Occupational Health & Safety Director Position

Join Supply Ontario as the Director focusing on Occupational Health and Safety and Labour Relations. This influential role involves strategic leadership and direct impact on workplace safety programs.

As part of Supply Ontario's HR leadership, you will spearhead initiatives to enhance employee relations and manage health and safety programs. With a minimum of 10 years in a senior role within a multi-union setting, you will oversee policies, guide negotiations, and ensure compliance with critical regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop governance of ELR and OHS practices and policies

• Oversee collective bargaining strategies and advice

• Promote employee health through wellness projects and initiatives

• Work with leadership on ELR/OHS operational performance

• Build stakeholder relationships for program success

Requirements:

• Degree in Labour Relations, Human Resources, or similar

• CHRL designation preferred

• Proven experience in a multi-union environment

• Knowledge of employment and health legislation

• Strong conflict resolution and consulting abilities
