Position: Simplot Field Operations Supervisor Role
Take charge as a Field Operations Supervisor with The Simplot Company in Portage la Prairie, Canada. Focus on managing quality and cost of raw potato procurement and storage.

This role requires overseeing the acquisition and movement of potatoes to meet customer standards efficiently. You will be responsible for supervising a team, maintaining grower relations, and developing budgets to ensure successful operations. Keeping abreast of industry trends while managing the quality of stored product is essential in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with growers and industry groups

• Oversee the budget and monitor annual expenditures

• Negotiate contracts for raw potatoes and additional services

• Direct field representatives for quality sampling

• Manage the storage environment for optimal product quality

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in relevant disciplines

• Minimum 3 years of operational experience

• Proven potato processing and purchasing experience

• High proficiency in Excel and verbal skills

• Strong leadership and coaching skills
