Strategic Governance Director

Position: Strategic Governance Director Role
Drive governance excellence at MS Canada as the Strategic Director of Governance. Collaborate with leaders and the Board to enhance accountability and transparency initiatives.

Reporting to the President and CEO, this leadership position requires a governance professional adept at working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. You will support the effective functioning of the Board of Directors, develop governance policies, and lead initiatives that align with the mission of improving lives affected by multiple sclerosis across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage governance practices and Board engagements

• Collaborate with leadership to streamline decision-making

• Cultivate relationships with Board members and stakeholders

• Promote transparency and inclusive initiatives

• Implement strategies that enhance Board effectiveness

Requirements:

• Background in governance for non-profit Boards

• Strong competence in organizational accountability

• Effective communicator with collaborative skills

• Proven experience in strategic governance roles

• Highly organized and proactive in approach
