As the AWS Platform Team Leader, you will play a key role in the success of our Cloud migration and innovation projects. You will lead a talented team, ensuring that performance objectives are met within set deadlines, budgets, and security standards.

In addition to team management, your deep AWS expertise and experience with Dev Ops practices will allow you to contribute to technical deliverables. You will play a key role in deploying our strategy, AWS governance, and our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE). You will be responsible for adhering to AWS budgets (Fin Ops, cost optimization). Finally, you will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and working methods.

Your leadership will inspire the team to achieve high performance levels, and you will exercise this position within a positive, collaborative work environment. This hybrid role will allow you to stay connected to ground realities while developing your leadership skills.

Technical Contribution
  • Organize and facilitate Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) meetings. Act as the central point of contact for aligning Cloud practices, defining strategy, and driving standard adoption across the organization.
  • Assume full responsibility for AWS budgets (Fin Ops). This includes monitoring, forecasting, and implementing proactive cost-optimization strategies (reservations, spot instances, etc.) to maximize Cloud value.
  • Participate in the design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of our platform according to current norms and standards.
  • Ensure peer reviews are conducted in line with company standards.
  • Stay up to date on new technologies, best practices, and market trends.
  • Propose innovative solutions to improve team efficiency and work quality.
  • Help establish a culture of continuous improvement.
Supervision
  • Mentor, motivate, and support team members.
  • Create a positive, collaborative work environment conducive to harmonious working relationships.
  • Evaluate team members' performance and identify their training and development needs.
  • Participate in recruiting and onboarding new employees.
  • Provide adequate supervision and ensure ongoing training.
  • Promote transparent communication and effective knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure timely participation from team collaborators.
  • Ensure the team has all necessary resources to function effectively.
  • Set individual and collective goals for the team.
  • Implement strategies to achieve performance targets.
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams to solve issues and enhance customer experience.
Project Management and Monitoring
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives and priorities.
  • Estimate workloads and plan activities in collaboration with the director and technical lead.
  • Monitor project progress and identify risks.
  • Guarantee work quality and adherence to established standards and processes.
  • Ensure team efficiency and contribution to on-time project delivery.
  • Bilingualism in French and English.
  • Bachelor’s degree / AEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical, significant experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Team Lead role or a significant influence role requiring direct or indirect leadership.
  • AWS certification, or a minimum of 2 years of experience as a contributor.
