Position: Threat Intelligence Engineering Role at SecurityScorecard
Elevate threat intelligence with Security Scorecard as a Senior Research Engineer. This hybrid role combines research and production, transforming findings into actionable security measures.

In this position within STRIKE, you’ll work at the intersection of engineering and research. Collaborate closely with the Head of Threat Research and contribute to actionable detection rules, customer alerts, and artifacts from research outputs. You’ll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining platform components that drive our threat intelligence workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own delivery of production-ready detection artifacts

• Build and maintain services for STRIKE platform

• Turn research findings into detection content

• Drive STIX 2.1 adoption for schema consistency

• Automate workflows to enhance research efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant field

• 5-8 years in threat intelligence or security engineering

• Proficiency in Python and Type Script/Node

• Experience with threat intel data systems

• Familiarity with YARA, Sigma, and STIX patterning
