Seasonal Core Logger Technician Position

Take on an adventurous role as a Seasonal Core Logger Technician with Ground Truth Exploration in Canada. This job involves hands-on skills in core cutting and sampling during the dynamic exploration season.

In this position, you will assist in exploring geological sites, focusing on the preparation, cutting, and sampling of drill cores. You must have a strong understanding of quality control, safety practices, and core logging principles. The role includes working in rugged terrains with a schedule of 21 days on followed by 7 days off, suitable for those who thrive in field conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and handle core samples for analysis

• Cut and split cores according to specifications

• Ensure proper labeling and storage of samples

• Maintain equipment used for core cutting

• Document all procedures and communicate with geologists

Requirements:

• Educational background in Geological Sciences or related area

• Valid Standard First Aid Level C, CPR & AED certification

• Experience in core sampling or similar fieldwork beneficial

• Ability to work in remote environments

• Commitment to maintaining a safe camp environment
