The successful candidate must be willing to participate in the John Deere Ag Tech Program offered through Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. You will study advanced John Deere diesel engine, hydraulic, electrical, fuel, drive train, air conditioning and brake systems, as well as planting equipment, system diagnostics, applied work practices and procedures, and harvesting equipment. You will rotate between work terms and school terms over a 3 year period and complete the program by writing your Certificate of Qualification.

Candidates with a mechanical aptitude and a passion for farming will be considered. The position requires willingness to participate in the John Deere Ag Tech Program through Fanshawe College.
