Land Camp Maintenance Technician

Position: Land Base Camp Maintenance Technician
Become a Maintenance Technician at our Land Base Camp with a pay of $24/hour and a stable Monday to Friday work schedule. This role focuses on essential maintenance across various systems ensuring their operational integrity.

The Permanent Maintenance Technician faces the challenge of managing heating, cooling, electrical, and water treatment systems. A keen understanding of safety protocols, along with experience in plumbing and electrical systems, is crucial to your success. Effective communication with staff and youth is also essential in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair heating and cooling units

• Oversee water treatment processes

• Conduct regular inspections of safety and security systems

• Manage grounds and maintenance tools thoroughly

• Document and report all maintenance activities

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 education

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience

• First Aid/CPR certification required

• Must hold a valid driver’s license

• Clearance through criminal record and Vulnerable Sector Check
