Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice Role

Become a Heavy Duty/Commercial Transport Mechanic Apprentice and gain hands-on experience in mechanical repairs. Work part time in a rotational schedule, performing roadside repairs and following safe work practices.

In this apprentice role, you will focus on repairing commercial transport and heavy-duty equipment both independently and under supervision. Your responsibilities include making road side repairs and adhering to OEM guidelines while always wearing appropriate PPE. This position offers part-time hours and the potential for overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical repairs on heavy-duty equipment

• Conduct roadside repairs from a provided vehicle

• Follow OEM safe work practices and procedures

• Wear necessary personal protective equipment at all times

• Work independently and collaboratively under guidance

Requirements:

• Desire to learn and grow in the mechanics field

• Commitment to workplace safety practices

• Ability to work part time with a flexible schedule

• Willingness to engage in on-call and weekend work

• Prior experience in mechanical repairs is a plus
