For its Public Works Service, the City of Laval is looking for a: Mechanic for Vehicles and Equipment

The challenges that await you

Perform various mechanical repair work on all types of motorized vehicles, equipment, and devices.

The ideal profile for us

• Hold a diploma of vocational studies (DEP) in heavy vehicles, construction machinery, or automotive mechanics (with relevant experience on heavy vehicles), recognized by the Ministry of Education of Quebec);
• Hold a PEP card (Preventive Maintenance Program) issued by the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec);
• Possess an environmental qualification certificate, category H3 - vehicles;
• Aptitude to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and to perform repairs on all types of motorized equipment;
• Hold a class 5 driver's license in accordance with the requirements of the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec;
• Have two (2) years of relevant experience.
