Mechanic for Heavy Vehicles

Be part of Laval's Public Works team as a Mechanic for Vehicles and Equipment. This temporary evening position focuses on providing mechanical repair solutions for various motorized vehicles.

You will be responsible for repairing diverse types of vehicles and equipment, applying your mechanical knowledge and expertise. Applicants should possess a DEP in relevant fields and appropriate certifications to conduct efficient repairs and compliance with safety standards in the city’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical repairs on various motorized vehicles

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

• Carry out regular preventive maintenance tasks

• Maintain compliance with environmental requirements

• Enhance customer service through effective communication

Requirements:

• Diploma in heavy vehicles, construction machinery, or automotive mechanics

• Valid PEP card for maintenance

• H3 certification for environmental qualifications

• At least two years of related mechanical experience

• Class 5 driver's license is essential
