Special Education Instructional Assistant
The Lawndale Elementary School District has multiple openings for part time and full time Special Education Instructional Assistants at various locations. We would like to establish a pool to meet staffing needs. This position is a 10-month position that accumulates one paid vacation and sick day per month of employment. LESD provides a $1,000 per year career enrichment program for employees.

Applicants must have a high school diploma (or its recognized equivalent) and pass an academic assessment test (conducted/provided by LESD). 48 Units or an Associates (or greater) degree from an accredited college/university is preferred. Some experience in working with school-age children in an organized setting is desirable.
