LOCATION(S):
Districtwide; 1 lead per digital platform

DURATION:
July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027

COMPENSATION:
Extra-Duty $55/Hour, not to exceed 30 hours

DESCRIPTION:

The Digital Textbook Platform Integration and Support Lead is responsible for ensuring successful integration and utilization of digital textbooks platforms within Canvas and/or Clever. The Digital Textbook Platform Integration and Support Lead for each platform will support all educators using that platform, irrespective of course/content area. This position supports educators by developing learning resources for adopted/pilot digital textbook platforms, providing just-in-time technical support, and assisting in identifying resources to resolve issues related to digital textbook platforms.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Possess a valid CA California Teaching Credential. Must be assigned to teach a course using the specific digital platform (e.g., Savvas, McGraw-Hill, HMH, TCI, etc.) within the last 2 years or are tentatively scheduled per site administration to teach the course in  school year. Know how to use Screencastify to create how-to videos. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to create user-friendly instructional materials and support guides.

Ability to work after school hours to accommodate training or support needs, in-person and via Google Meet. High demand time is at the beginning of each semester.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION(S):
Proficiency in using and troubleshooting digital instructional tools and platforms. Familiarity with commonly used digital textbook platforms.
