Cost Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity where your expertise will play a direct role in supporting operational performance, financial accuracy, and strategic decision-making.

• Manage daily work order processing and analysis, working closely with the shop floor to identify issues, reduce errors, and improve overall accuracy.
• Support critical cost accounting functions including cost of sales, inventory costing, perpetual inventory value, variance analysis, and maintaining inventory ledger and general ledger integrity.
• Prepare monthly journal entries, review profit and loss activity, analyze purchase price variance reports, and track project costs and reporting.
• Perform annual standard cost rolls, calculate and present monthly product cost information, and provide cost quotes to leadership and field teams.
• Participate in project reviews, support obsolete inventory analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement across accounting and operational processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing cost accounting experience with strong knowledge of inventory, cost of sales, variance analysis, and standard costing.
• Working knowledge of integrated accounting systems and advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work a Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST schedule, with some travel and occasional off‑shift inventory event support as needed.

Salary: $60,000 - $71,000
