Job SummaryThe Customer Services Representative acts as the liaison between Rotary clients and Vestcom’s coordinating departments to ensure project completion and high client satisfaction. The role involves managing multiple client accounts, coordinating projects, and providing account management support.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts (20+ accounts, typically < $5 MM revenue).
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure projects are completed on time and issues are resolved quickly.
- Provide regular status updates on project progress, changes, and client requests.
- Support the Client Services Manager and Vestcom’s Commercial team to drive higher client satisfaction.
- Present new products, samples, and pricing opportunities to clients for revenue growth.
- Keep the Client Services Manager informed of any changes to client orders or products.
- Participate in regular and ad‑hoc meetings for client projects and issues.
- Coordinate new client projects and requested changes, ensuring proper completion of assigned tasks.
- Gather required information (e.g., die layouts, creative concepts, quantities, pricing, store lists, delivery schedules) to initiate projects.
- Ensure all necessary information is supplied by the client to internal departments.
- Review and perform quality checks on pre‑production proofs whenever possible.
- Maintain documentation related to client requests, issue tracking, performance statistics, and inventory or billing data.
- Initiate client credit requests based on complaint resolution.
- Develop knowledge of client business processes to provide excellent service.
- Ensure timely completion of client requests to achieve total client satisfaction.
- Coordinate scheduling and prioritization of jobs to meet client deadlines.
- Communicate with production management concerning special production scheduling needs.
- Evaluate and determine when expedited, un‑billed shipping is necessary to meet client delivery requirements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and internal controls per Sarbanes‑Oxley Act 2002 Section 404.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- At least 3–5 years of related business experience or equivalent education and work experience; previous printing industry experience preferred.
- Diplomatic communication skills when dealing with challenging clients.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Strong collaborative and team‑oriented work style.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets, Docs).
- Ability to embody and reflect Avery Dennison’s core values.
- Compliance with drug‑free workplace and all company safety policies.
