Overall Goal
This position supports the Supply Chain and Warehouse operations with inventory control, freight receiving, and general warehouse functions.
Job FunctionsThe Inventory Control Specialist manages incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring accuracy of product on hold, aging and allocated inventory. Develops and maintains processes and procedures, and communicates with Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to keep inventory ready for distribution. Reports to the Supply Chain Manager.
Key Duties and Responsibilities General Operations- Perform all duties safely, follow safety guidelines, and participate in site safety programs.
- Follow the daily cycle count and category review calendar.
- Research inventory‑related discrepancies and make appropriate adjustments in the system.
- Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.
- Alert department managers of large discrepancies.
- Perform de‑kitting and inventory returns from production lines.
- Audit incoming and outgoing trucks randomly.
- Lead the year‑end physical inventory process.
- Maintain database and report on all cycle count matrix results.
- Follow up to ensure changes are implemented regarding BOM and other inventory changes.
- Implement new processes and procedures to improve inventory accuracy and flow.
- Provide guidance/training to new employees and model the Integral Safety Model.
- Support plant management in actions and programs necessary for maintaining company culture.

- High school diploma required; associate degree or program certificate preferred; 3‑5 years related experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Forklift experience desired.
- Experience with People Soft (or other ERP) is a plus.
- Spanish/English bilingual helpful but not required.
