Team Lead, Enrollment & Billing – responsible for overseeing production for a defined line of business ectly supervises non‑exempt employees, monitors attendance, approves time cards, provides production reports, monitors performance, implements improvement solutions, hires and onboards staff, and ensures deadlines are met daily, weekly and monthly.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee front‑line staff to ensure production deadlines are met while maintaining accuracy and quality standards for member enrollment and billing.
  • Approve timecards, overtime, and staffing needs for front‑line staff.
  • Assist in developing metrics to report trending, root‑cause identification, and provide solutions to challenges so they are mitigated and/or eliminated.
  • Coach, mentor and develop staff.
  • Take ownership of new employee onboarding.
  • Review, approve and, in partnership with the manager, deliver corrective‑action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all New York State, Federal and local rules and regulations.
  • Update job aids, policies and procedures when changes occur or based on regulatory requirements or new products/processes.
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings to encourage active communication and dissemination of information.
  • Perform one‑on‑one meetings monthly.
  • Ensure the member experience is positive by providing appropriate and expedient resolution to escalated or identified issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure staff work to maximum capacity.
  • Report and review production activity and provide status updates on the daily/weekly/monthly team tasks.
  • Prepare and submit requested audit data accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel creating and editing data.
  • Experience creating and editing documents using Microsoft Word.
  • Experience leading project teams and independent projects within specific timelines.
  • Experience communicating with cross‑functional employees within an organization.
  • Previous experience supervising 6 or more direct reports.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience interpreting data.
  • Industry knowledge of government‑sponsored managed health care plans and/or enrollment operations.
  • Familiarity with MHS, ePaces, and potentially MP.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI data visualization.
  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid and long‑term care compliance & regulation.
Benefits and Compensation

Hiring range (Greater New York City Area): $68,900 – $99,620. All other locations: $61,300 – $89,440. Salary and compensation are contingent upon experience, education, licenses and certifications. Healthfirst offers a full range of benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, incentive and recognition programs, life insurance, and 401(k) contributions (subject to eligibility).
