Construction Field Manager; Telecom

We are looking to hire a Construction Field Manager who is not afraid to get their hands dirty in the field – This would be a travel role, working alongside Project Managers and Project Director.

Company truck is provided along with per diems and travel benefits.

Candidates MUST reside in/around the Kansas City area to be considered

Pay Range: $90,000.00 – $ annually. Factors such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.

THIS IS A 90% TRAVEL ROLE (MIDWEST; MO, KS, NB, IA)

• Involved in daily activities in the field with no hesitation doing partial labor work
• Assist with site walks & field walks
• Travel around the Midwest to support multiple constructions crews/sites
• Support and help Foreman’s, Technicians, and/or Subcontractors
• Communicate with clients on current and pending status of jobs.
• Request quotes and order materials from various vendors for materials and services
• Attend conference calls and participate in project meetings
• Create daily and weekly schedules to support the management team
• Coordinating the final inspections of jobs as required
• Requesting COIs and surety bonds for permits and business licenses
• Arrange construction testing and engineering services if necessary.
• Climb ladders over 30 feet on rooftops, water tanks, and buildings using a safety harness
• Ensure job site remains safe, clean, and orderly
• Monitor and assist with field productivity, cost control, and scheduling
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must have experience managing and/or supporting tower or solar construction crews and/or subcontractors
• A WORKING Manager who is willing to work alongside their crews and get their hands dirty is required
• Must be fully proficient MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel 90% of the time for projects (Midwest region including MO, KS, NB, IA)
• Able to climb ladders and assist with the use of construction equipment
• Able to lift 50 lbs. of equipment/materials
• Able to work some weekends during deadlines
• OSHA 10 or 30, CPR, and Lift Certifications a plus
