About the role- As a Videographer, you play a crucial role in producing visual content by combining creative and technical skills to capture, edit, and produce videos and imagery. You will be responsible for planning and executing all aspects of video and photo shoots, catering to internal brand initiatives and financial planning clients (members). Acting as a strategist, you will conduct necessary consumer and market research and collaborate with clients and team members to conceptualize and storyboard ideas, ensuring that the final product aligns with the project’s goals and vision.
You will also be responsible for fulfilling post‑production tasks, requiring both technical proficiency and storytelling expertise.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define media vision and project requirements; must be proficient in discovery techniques to uncover media goals and expectations.
- Strategically plan and effectively communicate video concepts, storyboards, and shot lists, demonstrating best practices and rationale.
- Collaborate with colleagues in design, communications and digital teams to ideate, develop and propose media concepts.
- Plan, shoot and edit video content and images for various platforms, including websites, social media, and other digital marketing outlets/campaigns.
- Assist in budgeting and resource planning for video and photography projects, ensuring cost‑effective production while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage the ordering, testing, operation, and maintenance of both company‑owned and rental video and photography equipment, demonstrating an intermediate to advanced technical understanding of its use and upkeep.
