Position Summary

This associate accurately processes financial transactions and serves as an effective source of information for customers in the lobby, drive‑thru window, or by telephone, providing friendly and confidential assistance to ensure a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs teller transactions as defined by the bank.
  • Balances cashbox daily to ensure accuracy and alerts supervisor of discrepancies.
  • Participates in vault duties, including daily balancing when the vault is used.
  • Researches, troubleshoots, and resolves basic external and internal customer inquiries.
  • Answers incoming calls, verifies caller identity, determines needs, and resolves concerns efficiently.
  • Advises customers on additional services or programs that may benefit them and updates the bank’s tracking system.
  • Maintains existing accounts as defined by management.
  • Assists other departments and branches with transactions and supports management in fulfilling customer requests.
  • Maintains stringent standards of customer service confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Complies with current laws, regulations, bank policies, and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of six months of experience that includes customer service responsibilities; cash handling preferred.
