The University of Kansas, School of Business invites applications for a full-time, academic-year tenure-track finance position at the assistant professor level. This position starts in Fall 2027. Salary and benefit package are competitive.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in finance or a closely related field by August 18, 2027; demonstrate, or show evidence of high potential for, scholarship excellence through publications and working papers; and demonstrate, or show evidence of high potential for, teaching excellence. Areas of particular interest include corporate finance, financial institutions, international finance, investments, and risk management.
The University of Kansas School of Business offers undergraduate, master’s (full-time and online) and doctoral programs. In recent years, the School has experienced remarkable growth, expanding academic offerings with student enrollment approaching 5,000 students. The School of Business is located on KU’s main campus in Lawrence in Capitol Federal Hall, a 166,500 sq ft modern instructional facility with advanced classrooms, offices, and student resources.
