Assistant Wrestling Coach

Essential Functions
:

The assistant coach is responsible to assist the head coach in all aspects of the girls wrestling program. The coach must demonstrate strong leadership in player and staff development, sportsmanship, integrity and character development. Qualified candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills. They must demonstrate exceptional knowledge of the skills and strategies of the sport of wrestling as it pertains to interscholastic athletics in Arizona under AIA/NFHS guidelines per Lee Williams Policy.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card from Arizona Department of Public Safety. (Assistance and instructions to obtaining one is provided is necessary or go to (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).)

Principal's Message HELLO LWHS VOLUNTEER FAMILIES,I am so excited to welcome all of you to Lee Williams High School. LWHS boasts a tradition of excellence based on history and legacy. Our goal for this year is to build on the current traditions while establishing new traditions that support every student on a path toward success.

While our school is young, the history behind the school’s namesake is based on a tradition of extraordinary service. We at LWHS are proud to call ourselves “Volunteers” in honor of volunteer firefighters who responded to the scene of a derailed propane tanker in 1973. Richard Lee Williams, principal of Kingman High School and volunteer firefighter at the time, and nine of his fellow firefighters, died in the line of duty on July 5th, 1973, when the inflamed Doxol propane tanker exploded.

They left behind families, friends, and an indelible mark on the hearts of the entire community. We honor their memories by taking pride in our school and making every effort to continue their legacy and to be our best selves each and every day.

At Lee Williams, we welcome all students and strive to provide opportunities that match the unique goals and needs of our students. With this in mind, LWHS is proud to offer Cambridge Preparatory Academy Classes, dual enrollment courses, traditional math, science, ELA and social studies classes, along with a wide variety of Career and Technical Education and elective courses.

Participation in extracurricular activities, including sports and clubs, is an integral part of the high school experience and provides students with a chance to grow as scholars and people. Our student clubs and organizations, performing arts groups, and athletic teams offer students the chance to be part of something positive and rewarding, while they pursue their interests.
