Pipeline Operators – Technical Field Role – Hugoton, KS
A pipeline operations team in Hugoton, KS is seeking Pipeline Operators for technical field support. The role involves pipeline compliance, pigging operations, instrument calibration, and maintenance of flow computers and gas monitoring systems. This is a travel-heavy role requiring manual labor and detailed regulatory work in outdoor oil and gas environments.
What you’ll need:- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
- Ability to pass drug and background check
- Willingness to travel up to 75% and respond to 24/7 callouts
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform extended field work
- Familiarity with gas systems, flow computers, valves, and safety standards
- Experience with pipeline maintenance and pigging operations
- Knowledge of corrosion protection and NACE standards
- Certifications from trade schools or industry bodies
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
