This role allows you to make a significant impact, leading complex, multi-discipline programs as a Senior Project Manager, working with some of the most recognized hyperscale owners, colocation operators, and advanced manufacturing clients in the industry.
Your Responsibilities- Project Execution & Controls: Develop and own the comprehensive project management plan, encompassing scope, schedule, budget, fee forecasting, and risk management.
- Manage Jacobs' engineering budgets and subcontract scopes while tracking earned value and costs monthly.
- Lead the development of project schedules in P6 or MS Project, focusing on critical path analysis and recovery planning.
- Administer contracts and manage change orders, ensuring disciplined scope and cost substantiation.
- Coordinate teams across multiple engineering disciplines from concept to construction, facilitating weekly design meetings and resolving BIM clashes.
- Act as the Owner's Engineer, representing client interests through design reviews, RFI responses, and construction oversight.
- Interface with technical teams to ensure alignment on design criteria and standards compliance.
- Enforce quality management plans and conduct peer reviews during key project milestones.
- Promote Jacobs' safety culture, reviewing contractor safety plans and conducting observations on site.
- Serve as the primary client contact, overseeing executive communication and program status updates.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, staffing plans, and presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 12-15 years of progressive project management experience with complex industrial programs
- 5 years of PM experience specifically on Data Center, Advanced Technology, or Semiconductor projects
- Fluency with at least one Jacobs delivery mode: OE, EPCM, or Design-Build
- Proficient in project controls tools such as P6 or MS Project
- PMP certification (or in progress)
- Professional Engineer credentials in relevant fields
- Master's degree in management or engineering
- Experience with hyperscale cloud projects or advanced semiconductor fabs
- LEED AP BD+C, CEA, or DBIA credentials desirable
- Knowledge of hyperscale design standards
