This exciting opportunity is available nationwide in the United States. We are seeking top talent, and while proximity to a JACOBS U.S. office is preferred, it is not a strict requirement.
The Program Lead will be responsible for the successful management and oversight of a Data Center Program within Advanced Manufacturing. This role serves as the key liaison for all program-related projects, necessitating effective team management and project coordination in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will engage directly with clients to establish standard workflows that align with Data Center project requirements.
Furthermore, this role involves enhancing people, processes, technology, and tools to foster continuous improvement in discipline performance, deliverable quality, and user proficiency.
- Proposals & Industry Knowledge
- Consult on early-stage bidding and business development to provide insights and recognize necessary applications/tools for client and program projects.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to advocate for clients through efficient project workflows.
- Engage in strategic planning efforts for the program.
- Draft and estimate proposals for new program initiatives.
- Staff Development & Training
- Delegate and manage program responsibilities among Advanced Manufacturing staff in collaboration with the Integrated Design Team Manager.
- Empower leads and coordinators to comprehend and implement client-specific workflows.
- Organize and oversee necessary training sessions for program staff.
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures to enhance engineering workflows.
- Encourage cost reductions through innovative technology applications.
- Monitor project workload hours, ensuring effective staff allocation with the Integrated Design Team Manager.
- Exhibit strong leadership in digital delivery team management.
- Communicate effectively with Jacobs disciplines, project managers, and clients, showcasing excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prioritize tasks efficiently while managing time effectively.
- Assemble project teams and mobilize quickly for project execution.
- Design Execution
- Oversee design methodologies and promote continuous improvement throughout project life cycles.
- Collaborate with IT and Operations Subject Matter Experts to ensure the program meets technological needs.
- Authorize data access and coordinate efforts across various departments, including Center of Excellence technologies and external design firms.
- Monitor project timelines to confirm development levels align with project specifications.
- Aggregate information from multiple projects to derive actionable data.
- Create dashboards and visual aids to provide project teams with valuable data and insights.
- Manage the implementation of new products from concept through launch and process verification.
- Track the progress of each project to ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables.
- Client Engagement
- Establish and cultivate relationships with clients to become a trusted advisor within the digital landscape.
- Engage regularly with client Program Leads to explore workflows and identify optimization opportunities.
- Continue to stay updated on market trends, seeking avenues to enhance processes.
- Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Digital Delivery role.
- A relevant degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or related fields.
