Project Engineer, Quality Engineering

Responsibilities

• Ensure ESH Compliance:
  Promote good safety/housekeeping standards.
• Ensure Project Management:
  Orderly and timely execution of projects.
• Ensure Cost Management:
  Intimate involvement with local and corporate Procurement throughout all phases of project.
• Project Development:
  Ability to develop, justify and execute projects from concept through start-up.
• Ensure Project Execution:
  Supervise outside contractors and maintenance forces on assigned projects.
• Support improvements in equipment reliability and efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical) or related field with equivalent job experience.
• A minimum of 2 years project engineering work experience in chemical manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Project management/engineering experience.
• Ability to work independently and/or in a team/leader capacity.
• Outstanding communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Understand chemical processes.
• Understand basics of control systems.
• Experience in projects utilizing external engineering and construction firms.
• Ability to safely exit out of the plant in the event of an emergency.
