Responsibilities
- Ensure ESH Compliance:
Promote good safety/housekeeping standards. - Ensure Project Management:
Orderly and timely execution of projects. - Ensure Cost Management:
Intimate involvement with local and corporate Procurement throughout all phases of project. - Project Development:
Ability to develop, justify and execute projects from concept through start-up. - Ensure Project Execution:
Supervise outside contractors and maintenance forces on assigned projects. - Support improvements in equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical) or related field with equivalent job experience.
- A minimum of 2 years project engineering work experience in chemical manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Project management/engineering experience.
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team/leader capacity.
- Outstanding communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
- Understand chemical processes.
- Understand basics of control systems.
- Experience in projects utilizing external engineering and construction firms.
- Ability to safely exit out of the plant in the event of an emergency.
