Financial Planning Analyst

CB Partners is supporting a company seeking a hands‑on FP&A Analyst to help strengthen financial visibility, support budgeting, and improve day‑to‑day financial decision‑making. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, working closely with leadership, and building processes in a growing small‑business environment.

• Assist with creating annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and basic financial models
• prepare regular reports on sales, expenses, and overall financial performance
• Analyze trends to identify cost savings, margin improvements, and operational opportunities
• Work directly with the owners and department managers to support business decisions
• Help with month‑end tasks such as reconciling data, pulling reports, and reviewing variances
• Maintain simple dashboards and financial tools to support daily operations
• Support ad‑hoc financial analysis and evolving business needs
• Help improve basic financial processes as the company grows

• Good understanding of financial statements and basic budgeting/forecasting
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
• High attention to detail and willingness to take ownership of tasks
• Strong problem‑solver with the ability to explain numbers clearly
• Friendly, professional communicator who can work well with a small, collaborative team
• Adaptable and comfortable in a flexible, fast‑changing small‑business environment

• Required: 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or FP&A
• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or relevant experience)
