Job Description- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Documents financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents and records.
- Creates and submits cash funding requests to support financial operations.
- Reconciles urgent check accounts and requests wire transfers when necessary.
- Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data.
- Serves as a liaison between the corporate office and facilities to provide analysis and support in decision-making.
- Maintains financial records and prepares reports to ensure financial stability and efficiency.
- Participates in the preparation of financial statements and budgets.
- Monitors and analyzes financial performance to identify trends and variances.
- Assists with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Ensures compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness with data. Monitors own work to ensure quality. Reviews and validates financial information assumptions and methodology based on a thorough understanding of financial concepts. [Required]
- Complete understanding of double-entry accounting and operational understanding of routine accounting functions. [Required]
- Ability to handle many tasks and projects at one time with excellent organizational skills. [Required]
- Ability to communicate well orally and in writing, and must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English. [Required]
- Analytical and organizational abilities with the ability to perform complex mathematical and accounting processes. [Required]
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office. [Required]
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records, using spreadsheets for analytical reasoning and problem-solving. [Required]
- Requires experience with General Ledger and knowledge of Healthcare Revenue Recognition and Analysis. [Required]
- Prioritizes and plans work activities and projects. [Required]
- Ability to deal with new situations requiring mature judgment. [Required]
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) [Preferred]
- Familiarity with business concepts, practices, and procedures. [Preferred]
