Position: Financial Solutions Advisor - Western Long Island Market

Bank of America is seeking a financial advisor to provide comprehensive financial planning and investment solutions to clients.

Responsibilities
  • Build a financial plan with brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money‑managed solutions.
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies that align with client goals and needs.
  • Triage client requests and make referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
  • Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities.
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and potential product services recommended.
Required Qualifications
  • Current Series 7 & 66 licenses (Series 63 or 65 acceptable in lieu of 66, with passing score for missing series within 60 days).
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in‑depth knowledge of investment products and services.
  • At least one year of experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals, build and nurture strong relationships, and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort engaging all clients.
  • Capacity to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Adaptability and a commitment to learning and providing the right solutions for clients.
  • Efficient time and capacity management.
  • Thorough and thoughtful incorporation of relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long‑term strategies.
  • Compliance with SAFE Act registration requirements, including completion of required background checks and registration processes.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong computer skills and multitasking ability.
  • At least three years of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
  • Additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC).
  • Insurance licenses.
Minimum Education Requirement

High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

Pay and Benefits

Annual pay range: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00, based on experience, education, and skill set.

Formulaic incentive eligibility may apply.
