Recovery Support Specialist - Lawrence- PT

Part-Time:
Wed-Sat, 2pm-10am

Essential Functions

• Createsa safe client environment by performing all required security and safety procedures
• Assistsin the client's orientation of treatment goals, program rules and structure
• Submitsa written incident report in the event of unusual client behavior or activity while in DCCCA's care
• Assesses and resolves minor incidents during weekend and evening hours when daytime staff is unavailable
• Documents required program and client information in a timely and complete manner
• Monitors client's weekly schedule and adherence to policies and procedures related to facility/equipment usage
• Supports Counselors and other treatment providers with the coordination and implementation of client services from admission through discharge
• Supervises client performance, enforces program rules and applies the prescribed consequences for misbehavior
• Conduct sand/or participates in client room searches as necessary
• Adheresto established protocol in crisis situations and notifies appropriate on-callstaff members immediately
• Follows the program schedule and completes assigned tasks in a timely and complete manner
• Contributes to overall building security through routine monitoring
• Helpswith client groups and facilitates client activities as requested which may include occasional transport
• Consults with members of the treatment team and other professionals as necessary and implements recommendations received to ensure quality client care
• Develop sand maintains professional relationships with all clients at all times
• Enters data and assists with client billing process
• Monitor sand documents clients' self-administration of clients' medication according toprogram policy and prescribed medical policy/procedure, conduct and document thorough and accurate medication count during each shift
• Job may require the employee to be able to regularly drive to various DCCCA locations and other business locations throughout the day including early morning orevening hours

Education, Experience,and Licensure

• Must possess a valid Driver's License, have inforce automobile liability insurance coverage, and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization's insurability standard as defined byDCCCA policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position.
