Job Summary

The Clinical Manager is a licensed physician, physical therapist, speech‑language pathologist, occupational therapist, social worker, or a registered nurse who provides oversight of all patient care services and personnel. The role ensures quality of patient care in the home, coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team, the patient, family, and referring agency, and may also hold titles such as Director of Nurses, Supervising Nurse, Director of Clinical Services, or Director of Professional Services.

Education: Graduate from an accredited college/university with a degree in the discipline of the professional license held.

Licensure: Active, state license as a physician, physical therapist, speech‑language pathologist, occupational therapist, audiologist, social worker, or a registered nurse. Must have a current driver’s license.

Experience: One year of experience in home health care preferred. Management experience preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

• CPR certification if required to make visits.
• Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle stressful situations in a calm manner.
• Flexible schedule, local travel, exposure to varied weather conditions, and PRN emergency calls.
• Must be available at all times, either in person or via telecommunications.

Performs duties in an office environment, with occasional patient visits in homes. Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, infectious diseases, unfavorable weather, and other conditions.

Prolonged sitting and use of office equipment. May involve heavy lifting, bending, standing, and walking during patient visits. Requires calm and courteous handling of stressful situations, meeting deadlines, and making quick decisions and resource acquisition.
