Pay is commensurate with experience within a range of $65,000 to $75,000annually. Full time, exempt, benefits eligible.

The primary responsibility of the CFSTherapist will be to provide outcome-based interventions to meet the mental health needs of children and families in Douglas County. Specific duties include but not limited to:

• conducting systematic assessments, developing a diagnoses and analyses of symptoms within the ecological contexts, and formulating plansfor change with the families or guardians;
• working to identify and overcome barriers to treatment by providing services at times most likely to promote engagement when possible andby delivering services in the home and community when appropriate;
• implementing interventions that target the changes needed utilizing measurable outcomes;
• participating in BNC training, supervision,consultation, and research activities, to assure that interventions are being delivered according to established standards of care with clearly measurable outcomes;
• working closely as a member of the Child and Family Services program and coordinating intervention activities with all providers;
• completing all paperwork associated with the financial,clinical, legal or regulatory management of the case, or of BNC's operations,in a timely and accurate manner;
• regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job, with some evening availability and willingness to provide support in the community; and
• completing additional responsibilities as assigned.

The CFSTherapist position is a Licensed Qualified Mental Health Professional, that requires but not limited to:

• an appropriate degree and being licensed or licensableby the Behavioral Sciences Board in Kansas; preference for a clinical license in professional degree and certificates or advanced training in play therapy oranother evidenced based practice (EMDR, TFCBT, PCIT, CBT, DBT, SFBT, etc.);
• a commitment to following all legal and ethical guidelines and standards of the profession and of The Bert Nash Center;
• reliable transportation and a valid, unrestricted driver's license;
• flexibility in assigned work hours;
• an energetic and positive approach to the rapidly evolving changes and challenges of a complex work environment;
• strong interpersonal skills in working with diversepublics, consumers and referral agents;
• strong oral and written communications skills;
