The HR Coordinator supports the Human Capital team with a primary focus on talent acquisition and recruiting operations. This role coordinates key activities throughout the hiring process, including candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, pre-employment requirements, candidate communication, and onboarding. The HR Coordinator works closely with Recruiters, HR Generalists, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure an organized, timely, and positive hiring experience. In addition to recruiting, this position provides administrative support across broader HR functions and assists with projects and initiatives that support the organization's workforce and employee experience.
Responsibilities- Supports talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, community partners, schools, job fairs, and other recruiting channels.
- Screens resumes, coordinates interviews, communicates with candidates and hiring managers, and maintains a positive candidate experience.
- Coordinates pre-employment activities under the guidance of the HR team, including background checks, drug screenings, physicals, employment documentation, and new hire communications.
- Presents organizational info and culture in New Hire Orientation.
- Responds to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests via phone or email.
- Enters and maintains accurate employee data within HRIS and other software (Paylocity, Axonify, etc.).
- Maintains accurate recruiting and employee records by updating job postings, applicant tracking systems, HRIS data, and other recruiting documentation.
- Represents LANGE professionally by promoting the organization’s culture and employment brand during recruiting events, job fairs, school partnerships, and candidate interactions.
- Contributes to the HR team by assisting with administrative tasks, supporting cross-functional projects, and performing other duties that provide exposure to benefits, employee relations, training, compliance, and employee engagement.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Strong interest in HR, recruiting, or talent development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with Linked In or job boards is a plus.
