As an IoT Solution Architect, you will apply your technical expertise in cellular communications and telecoms network technology to design and implement connectivity solutions for enterprise customers across a range of industries. You will partner with Solution Architects, Sales, Product Management and Technology teams to drive pre‑sales, design and implementation phases and ensure solutions are fully tested and accepted by the customer.

• Work closely with the sales, product and technology teams while driving pre‑sales, design and implementation phases.
• Present and evangelise Vodafone IoT technology and solutions to customers’ technical and business stakeholders.
• Become a technical expert on Vodafone’s IoT network, solutions and related global deployment technologies.
• Design seamless, well‑structured network connectivity and backend integration solutions that align with each customer’s systems and requirements.
• Support potential workshops with customers and internal experts to develop optimal solutions and generate customer satisfaction.
• Act as a technical expert throughout the sales process from pre‑sales and qualification stages, through RFP/ bid and contract sign‑up, all the way to implementation, deployment and successful acceptance testing.
• Create and maintain clear, accurate technical designs that reflect customer requirements and business capabilities, ensuring the solution receives full technical approval.
• Support Solution Architect and technical teams during deployments, testing, in‑life new feature deployments and manage technical change requests.
• Liaise with internal delivery teams and drive solution design and testing through to completion.
• Act as the customer’s advocate within Vodafone IoT, ensuring their needs shape our products and delivery so we consistently exceed expectations.

• BS/BA or equivalent in IT/EE.
• Knowledge of cellular 3
  
  GPP and / or fixed data network technology – 2G/3G/4G/5G, NB‑IoT, LTE‑M – with understanding of the IoT application lifecycle.
• Knowledge of data communication, network technology, software applications, cloud technology, cyber security and IoT device development.
• Understanding of the broader IoT market, typical applications and industry challenges.
• Pro‑active, can‑do attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team player, self‑starter with determination to succeed.

• Hands‑on experience in IoT solution design, implementation and issue resolution on the device or network side.
• Experience working within a multinational mobile network operator is advantageous.
• Some knowledge of OSS/BSS systems for Telecoms is a plus.

• Annual revenue growth – achieve or exceed set revenue targets for IoT solutions.
