What You’ll Be Working On Store Performance
  • Ensure store performance meets financial targets and key metrics.
  • Continually monitor and set pace of work.
  • Analyze key metrics and act on observations.
  • Inspect sales floor for shop‑ability and ensure positive customer/donor experience.
  • Prioritize and direct team member activity.
Leadership and Development
  • Lead, direct and supervise work of supervisors and production team members.
  • Plan staffing needs and coordinate recruitment, selection and training.
  • Observe, assess, coach and counsel supervisors and team members.
  • Identify and develop high‑potential supervisors and team members.
  • Maintain a respectful, values‑driven workplace.
  • Use open communication, convert input into action, address complaints, resolve issues, and provide recognition and feedback.
  • Serve as manager on duty and oversee entire store as acting manager when assigned.
Customer/Donor Service
  • Receive and respond to customer/donor questions, requests and complaints.
  • Deliver a positive customer/donor experience and train team members on service expectations.
  • Actively gather feedback to improve the shopping and donor experience.
  • Implement sales and marketing promotions & programs as required.
  • Assist donors per company standards.
Consistent Production
  • Manage item put‑out condition and volume, production margin, price spread, and seasonal backstock.
  • Ensure all sellable items are available to the customer.
  • Plan, schedule, assign and direct work to achieve sales, service, production, labor efficiency and profit objectives.
  • Optimize production workflow efficiencies, standards and organization.
  • Oversee quality control checks throughout all production stages.
  • Lead the morning maintenance program to prepare the sales floor each morning.
  • Partner with Community Donation Manager/Retail Sales Manager to manage OSD flow.
  • Ensure accuracy of daily stock‑on‑hand and merchandise supply requirements.
  • Leverage the Savers recycling program to reduce landfill and increase reuse of unsold items.
Loss Prevention and Safety
  • Protect company assets and information through safe handling and security.
  • Promote loss‑prevention awareness by upholding procedures.
