Hospital Risk Management Director

Hospital Risk Management Director will join a forward‑leaning healthcare organization that prioritizes clinical excellence, patient‑first outcomes, and robust safety culture. The Director will embed within the Finance arena and collaborate closely with compliance, governance, and regulatory affairs to anchor enterprise risk, safety reporting, claims, and loss prevention initiatives.

Reporting to senior leadership in Finance with a dotted‑line relationship to the Chief Compliance and Chief Quality Officers, the Director will shape strategy while partnering with quality analysts, legal and insurance partners, education teams, and informatics specialists. Responsibilities include leading event review and root cause analyses, managing claims and risk financing, refining policies, guiding regulatory survey preparation, mentoring leaders on Just Culture, and championing high reliability across service lines.
