Overview
Position Summary:
Maintains the assembly, disassembly and repair of blowers and electrical components; completes diagnostics and troubleshooting; completes work order forms for parts needed to keep production running; contributes to the team effort.
- Maintains the assembly, disassembly and repair of blower and electrical components by operating machinery; using an air compressor, riveter, multiple types of crimpers for wires, solder gun/iron, hand tools, tape measure or ruler, and wire stripping machine; operating within standard operating procedures (SOPs); making adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications; performing equipment changes as necessary; completing daily production documentation,
- Completes diagnostics and troubleshooting on by analyzing equipment operational issues.
- Ensures the efficiency and quality of assembly by maintaining equipment and inventory levels; adhering to ISO and FDA regulations; completing work order forms for parts needed to keep production running by reading, listening, interpreting, and implementing both oral and written directions from a variety of sources.
- Must use critical thinking to make independent decisions.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Manage inventory to eliminate production slowdown and/or stoppages.
- Use quality control methods and physical inspection of in-progress and finished products.
- Willingness to take direction, accept constructive criticism, and fit into the current work environment.
- Ability to read a pressure gauge and a thermos-anemometer.
High School Diploma or equivalent
