Thermoform Tooling Technician (12-Hour Nights)

As a Thermoform Tooling Technician, you support the thermoforming operation by maintaining, repairing, and preparing molds and trim tools. This role is a strong fit if you enjoy hands-on mechanical work and want to grow your skills within a technical manufacturing environment. You'll work closely with the Tooling Supervisor and Leads to ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for production.
Responsibilities:- Performs basic maintenance, cleaning, and repair of molds and trim tools.
- Installs and removes molds and tooling for production needs.
- Operates forming and trimming equipment safely and correctly.
- Troubleshoots simple equipment or tooling issues and reports concerns promptly.
- Completes required documentation and follows inspection procedures.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assists team members with repair tasks and general shop duties.
- Follows all company safety, quality, and operational guidelines.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Possesses basic mechanical ability and comfort using hand tools.
- Communicates clearly and follows written and verbal instructions.
- Able to use basic measuring tools such as gauges or micrometers.
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Comfortable working around oils, grease, and common shop materials.
- Holds a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Compensation: $26.65 hourly plus shift differential
Work Schedule:
7:00pm–7:00am following a 2‑2‑3 schedule (every other weekend off!)
