Responsibilities
- Safe and effective operation and minor adjustments of all packaging equipment.
- Proper handling, packaging, labeling, coding and marking of product.
- Accurate and timely sampling of materials and communicating to lab.
- Accurate and timely documentation of the production day.
- Maintaining a safe, healthy and clean work environment.
- Reporting all accidents or near misses to Lead/Supervisor.
- Supporting other production lines and assisting Spray Operators when needed.
- Regular on-time attendance.
- Proper and timely communication of equipment performance to Operators/Leads.
- Effective evaluation of the quality of all packaging raw materials consumed in the operation and reporting any defects to Lead/Supervisor.
- Ensuring all product change‑overs are completed efficiently and promptly.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a group in accordance with company safety and sanitation standards.
- Basic computer skills:
Access, Outlook and SharePoint. - Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
- Ability to work on feet for the majority of the day.
- Moderate to heavy stair climbing (including vertical ladders).
This position operates in a production/plant environment 95% of the time. It requires lifting up to 55 lbs. (25 kg) and willingness to work in hot and/or cold environments, dusty conditions, and to wear half or full‑face respirators when necessary.

- Cooperate, coordinate, and communicate with other shifts and site departments.
