Job Description Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Manufacturing Team Member to join our team in Stafford. This role is essential to supporting the production of high-quality electro‑mechanical products, ensuring assembly, inspection, and testing activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will play a key role in helping the business achieve production targets while maintaining strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement through the application of Lean manufacturing principles.
Job Description What You’ll Be Doing- Following all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) procedures and safe working practices
- Building, testing, and repairing products in line with manufacturing plans and quality standards
- Carrying out assembly, inspection, and testing activities using approved procedures and documentation
- Ensuring products meet required quality standards and standard operating instructions
- Working efficiently within defined manufacturing processes to achieve production goals
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and identifying process improvements where possible
- Performing routine workstation maintenance and supporting 5S audits
- Contributing to productivity and operational KPIs
- Supporting additional manufacturing duties across the facility as required
- Working collaboratively as part of the wider manufacturing team
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively within a team-based environment
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem‑solving
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with minimal supervision
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Self‑motivated with a positive and results‑driven attitude
- Right to Work in the UK
- Experience working within an electro‑mechanical manufacturing environment
- Understanding of manufacturing KPIs and production targets
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
- Awareness of workplace safety and quality processes
- Monday to Thursday: 7am to 3.30pm, and,
- Friday: 7am to 12pm
