Description
As a Test Engineer II, you will play a critical role in the setup, collection and execution of the process to produce high-quality data that drives the development and improvement of our products. This role requires a highly conscientious and detail-oriented individual who can understand and execute complex testing and data collection processes with precision and consistency.

Hardware / Product Testing- Set up and operate electronics and lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, signal generators, and related tools.
- Perform hands‑on hardware validation and functional testing to verify proper operation, identify defects, and support engineering investigations.
- Diagnose, repair, and/or document hardware issues, including cable, connector, sensor, enclosure, PCB, and assembly problems.
- Perform soldering and rework on cables, connectors, and PCB‑level components as needed.
- Support product certification efforts (e.g., FCC, CE, UL) by preparing units, coordinating with test labs, and assisting with compliance testing.
- Maintain, organize, and track test equipment, fixtures, cables, and spare hardware to ensure readiness for lab and field testing.
- Support equipment maintenance, calibration coordination, and readiness checks.
- Build and maintain test infrastructure, including custom test harnesses and diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate on prototyping and validating new testing approaches and methodologies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab.
- Maintain well‑organized records of all testing and data collection activities for accessibility and traceability.
- Participate actively in team discussions, demonstrating accountability and preparedness.
- Plan, set up, and execute detailed data collection procedures for multi‑sport launch monitors and simulators.
- Support the development and execution of test plans to ensure product performance standards are met.
- Follow structured testing protocols while also identifying opportunities to improve processes and data quality.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross‑functional stakeholders to execute tests and communicate findings.
- Travel to local facilities with equipment to collect data in a variety of environments.
- Conduct routine and exploratory testing to proactively identify bugs or performance issues.
- Support technical validation and rollout of new product features.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant industry experience in product testing, data collection, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience using electronics test equipment, sensors, data collection systems, and related software.
- Experience in making 3D models and prints.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience performing electronics test of digital, RF and/or radar products.
- Experience using laser alignment, inclinometers, or similar metrology tools to characterize and document equipment position and orientation to high precision.
- Passion for sports and technology; interest in golf and/or baseball.
