Production Worker

This role involves working on a production line to feed product into machines, pack finished goods, and inspect items to ensure quality standards. You will support general production and labor tasks while maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.

• Feed product into production equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Pack finished products accurately and efficiently to meet production targets.
• Inspect products for defects or inconsistencies and remove or report any nonconforming items.
• Perform general production and labor tasks as assigned to support overall line operation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Follow all workplace safety rules, including proper use of required footwear and handling of materials up to 30 lbs.
• Stand and remain actively engaged on the production floor for the full duration of the shift.
• Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

• Experience in production, packing, inspecting, general production, or general labor environments.
• Strong attention to detail when feeding, packing, and inspecting products.
• Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift (8 hours).
• Ability to lift and safely handle items up to 30 lbs.
• Reliability in following instructions, procedures, and safety standards.
• Capability to work consistently on a structured production line schedule.

• Comfort working in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a production team.

This is a production role on a production floor that involves general manufacturing and labor tasks. The work requires standing for the entire shift and regularly lifting items up to 30 lbs. You will work around production equipment and packing stations in a setting that prioritizes safety and efficiency. Steel toe shoes or boots are required as part of the dress code to meet safety standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawrence, KS.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
