Process Technician / Tooling Technician

$21.75 - $26.00 per Hour (Based on Experience)

• Monitor and operate production equipment to ensure efficient manufacturing.
• Perform equipment start-ups, shutdowns, and production changeovers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain production quality through in-process inspections and documentation.
• Work closely with team members to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
• Help reduce scrap and improve overall production performance.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Reliable attendance and proven dependability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, maintenance, or production experience is a plus.

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

You'll work in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. While the facility is temperature controlled, production equipment generates heat during operation.

Required Safety Equipment:

• Eye protection
• Ear protection
• Hair net
• Smock
• Bump cap

Dress Code:

• Jeans or shorts
• T-shirts
• Closed-toe shoes

Production Floor Policies:

• No jewelry
• Water only on the production floor
• No food, gum, or other beverages

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawrence, KS.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
